What a cold but beautiful day on the mountain!
FYI...if you think you are going to use the restrooms at Big Creek in the winter, think again. Apparently they winterize them and shut them down during the winter.
This trail is a beautiful stroll through the park. Not a noticeable incline at all and you are walking on a wide path along the creek the whole way. The water was down pretty low today but Mouse Creek Falls was still flowing good.

The bridge was our turn around point for today.
After getting back to the car we went searching for the Appalachian Trail so I could complete the section to Davenport Gap Shelter. We weren't able to find it so we went to Cracker Barrell instead!
