Jakes Creek

We decided to hike Jakes Creek because I remembered it being a pretty easy hike for some reason and because I didn't complete it last time.  Well, I was wrong, lol!  It was pretty challenging. It was uphill almost the entire time.  The trail wasn't rocky or anything it was mainly just the climb.  It is a beautiful section of the Smokies though!  We met a copperhead as soon as we started hiking, it was a baby so I thought it was pretty cute.  And on our way back we met a grouse.
